What To Expect

Thanks for taking a closer look at FBC Warrensburg

We know that your first time at a church can be uncomfortable and confusing; we want you to be able to relax though and enjoy the friendly and warm atmosphere that makes FBC such a great place. We hope the answers to these commonly asked questions will help make your experience with us most comfortable:

WHEN are your Sunday Services:

Mornings at 9:00 and 10:45 - they are all identical services

WHAT should I expect at your Sunday Services?

An energetic worship experience with contemporary music, thought provoking videos and relevant teaching from God's Word - it's a whole new church experience so come check us out.

HOW do I get there and WHERE do I park?

Our campus is located at 1302 S Maguire Street which is on the south side of Warrensburg - you will find us on the corner of Hale Lake Road and Maguire/Hwy 13 with entrances onto our campus off both roads.

WHICH door do I enter?

Come to the main foyer area which is on the back side of our building - once inside the foyer, you will find a Welcome Center kiosk and someone there will be happy to help give directions and answer questions. FBC has a main auditorium and an adjacent smaller auditorium called the Apex which has a live video feed from our main auditorium

WHAT should I wear?

Whatever you would like - we are more concerned with meeting your real life needs than what you wear - so come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing - we are all fairly casual.

WHAT is available for my kids?

Birth - 5th Grade:  we have an amazing facility (at northwest end of campus) built and designed just for kids - the Kids Zone Welcome Center is where you will find a friendly volunteer to help you check in your child(ren) and walk you to age appropriate classrooms that are safe and secured

Grades 6th - 12th:  we have another building (on the south end of campus) designed just for teens - the Student Life Warehouse is where you will find our amazing youth staff and teenagers - they meet during the 9:00 am service.

WHAT about adult classes?

We offer a few ongoing discipleship classes on Sunday mornings, and periodically, classes on a specific topic are offered. Beginning Sunday, October 14th, What Christians Believe, a twelve-week class will be taught by our elders aimed at covering and teaching the essential beliefs and doctrines of the biblical faith. Also on October 14th a class will begin for newlyweds and engaged couples.  Registration is necessary for both of these classes.

HOW will I get to know anyone in such a large church?

The heartbeat and lifeline for people in our church family are Gospel Communities.

  • A Gospel Community is a community of Christ followers on mission with God in obedience to the Holy Spirit that demonstrates tangibly and declares creatively the gospel of Jesus Christ to a specific pocket of people.
  • Gospel Communities meet in homes and neighborhoods all throughout Warrensburg and the surrounding areas.
  • Gospel Communities are made up of 12-14 people (plus any children/students).
  • Gospel Communities gather monthly as a whole for a meal and discussion of God's Word; then weekly in smaller, gender-specific groups within the Gospel Community for deeper discussion and prayer.
  • Gospel Communities are for anyone interested in the God of the Bible!
