The greatest story ever lived is Jesus Christ. No one can overestimate the breadth of Jesus' impact on our world. His birth, life, death and resurrection literally split time. Countless people experience life change and miraculous intervention because of Jesus. Christmas is the time we celebrate the miraculous birth of Jesus, God incarnate. God let go of His divine attributes and put on flesh (Philippians 2). He became a vulnerable baby. He was born to a poor struggling family. He grew up in a nowhere place. But His life and death changed the world. Don't be mislead, the gift is Jesus, the Son of God who frees us from sin. In this series we will focus on gifts that we receive through Jesus. We receive the gift of light, faith, joy, hope and most importantly the gift of God Himself... Jesus. No one has impacted the world like Jesus. As you walk through this series, ponder how Jesus has changed your life.
As you study through 'The Gift', we pray that you will gain a deeper
understanding of the God described in the Scriptures, which naturally
results in a deeper, more soul-satisfying, walk with Him. We also pray that you would acquire a love for the Scriptures and a taste for truth so that the reading of Scripture would be something you do regularly as a means to know God more and more. In the end, our hope is that your love for Christ would be kindled so your life will radiate the glory of God in all that you do for the praise of His great and glorious name.
