FBC Campus Support

Lawn Care/Landscaping- During the warmer months we utilize volunteers to mow the grass throughout the FBC campus.   If you’d like to take on a landscaping project just let us know!   Mowers and other necessary equipment provided.  I’ll try it

Light Carpentry/Painting -   We typically have small projects that someone with a few skills can take on.   We like to be able to contact you on an as needed basis. We can provide most tools and supplies.  I’ll try it

Snow Removal/Side Walk Preparation - During the cold months when it snows or gets icy we need help making our parking lots and side walk safe.  This may include helping out in the early hours on Sunday mornings.  I’ll try it


Cleaning the FBC Kitchen -  Our kitchen is used frequently and from time to time really needs to be thoroughly cleaned.  It can be done at your convenience.  I’ll try it

Drivers

1.    Sunday Pick Ups -   Van Drivers Needed:  FBC provides rides for individuals who need transportation to church.  Drivers are needed before and after service.  I'll try it

2.    Special Trips - Several FBC ministries take short day or weekend trips.   Individuals with CDL licenses are needed to drive.   I'll try it

Contact the FBC office @ 747-9186 if you are interested in becoming a driver. An exam is required by our insurance provider (it’s not hard) and we’ll help you prepare for taking the CDL test if you’re interested.

FBC Office Staff Support

1.    Temporary Fill Ins - When one of our office staff members is away from work, we need people to fill in.  We’ll put you to work answering the phone and taking care of projects that you can handle.  I'll try it

2.    Stuff Bulletins - We print several hundred bulletins each week that often include special inserts that need to be hand stuffed on Fridays.  It goes by faster than you think, especially if you recruit a team of people.   I'll try it

3.    Graphic Artists - Publicity pieces look sharper when laid out by a graphic artist.  Maybe you’re a UCM student looking for an opportunity to add to your portfolio? You’d work with a specific staff member on individual projects.  We’d love to talk to you!   I'll try it

Baptism/Lord’s Supper Help Team

1.    Baptism Team -  As you know we baptize people on a regular basis during our Sunday services.   We have a team of people who work behind the scenes to be sure that everything goes smoothly.    You can help prepare the changing room and floor areas; take care of wet robes and towels and get to know those who are being baptized.   You’ll be needed 20 minutes prior to each service and should be able to serve on a rotation.  I'll try it

2.    Lord’s Supper -  FBC celebrates the Lord’s Supper on many of  the first Wednesdays of each month.   You can assist in this by preparing the elements prior to each service.   You should be able to serve on a rotation.   I'll try it
