Habitat for Humanity

Please help the workers building the Habitat House!!! This is the house being built with the help of donations from FBC's Better Together Campaign so let's continue to help the process by filling some bellies. I KNOW ladies of FBC can do this! We will be feeding the workers once or twice a month for the duration of the building...so we can use LOTS of help!

Pure Water, Pure Love

Pure Water Pure Love Contribute funds to purchase water filters. These filters provide missionaries and the people they serve with clean drinking water, free from disease-causing micro-organisms. Each filter costs $250.00 to purchase. Any size contribution will make a difference. Give online.

Women's Ministry Volunteer Opportunities

Habitat for Humanity Meals:

We will be providing meals for Habitat for Humanity once per month November through June, 2010. We are looking for women who love to cook and those who would be available on select Saturdays to serve the meals!

Welcome Mommy Team:

The Women's Ministry is in the process of forming a Welcome Mommy ministry to complement Welcome Baby! Contact us if you are interested in helping with this process, are an expectant mommy who would like to be served through this, or know an expectant mommy. Watch for a meeting date in the future!

Graphic Design Enthusiast

Help creatively promote, through brochures, flyers and web, all the ways Women’s Ministry is encouraging women to Enjoy God, Connect With Others and Share their Lives!

Prayer Coordinator/Prayer Warriors:

Rarely does anything powerful happen in ministry without the consistent commitment to prayer. Women's ministry is in desperate need of a prayer coordinator and prayer warriors who are willing to make that commitment to lift up the women of FBC.

Connecting Group Facilitators:

We are always looking for facilitators for groups! Please don't feel like you have to have all the answers, just a passion for going with other women on a journey through a study or a group type setting. Pick a topic you are passionate about and let’s chat about the possibilities!

Childcare Volunteers:

Our hope is to provide childcare for as many groups and events as possible. Help us develop a team who can make this happen! We would especially like to develop a team of men who could fill this role so all women can participate in groups and events.
